The GMB union is bringing a case against Uber arguing that Uber’s contract terms with drivers breaches UK employment law. They argue that Uber does not currently ensure drivers are paid minimum wage or receive paid holiday. Uber claims that the drivers are “partners” rather than “employees” or “workers”.
